The 22nd International Seminar on Olympic Studies for Postgraduate Students begins in the premises of the International Olympic Academy in Ancient Olympia with 35 students from 24 countries.
The works of the Seminar, where 21 women and 14 men participate, will be concluded on the 30th of September. The Opening Ceremony took place on Friday morning followed by laying of wreaths to the stele of baron Pierre de Coubertin, renovator of the Olympic Games and the commemorative monument of John Ketseas and Carl Diem, pioneers of the International Olympic Academy.
The 22nd International Seminar on Olympic Studies for Postgraduate Students this year has the special topic: “Olympic Movement. The process of renewal and adaption” that will be explicated by established professors from Greece and abroad.
