Elite tennis player, Stefanos Tsitsipas, visited the IOA booth in Tatoi Club in between his games with the national team at the Davis Cup.

The IOA President, Mr Isidoros Kouvelos, welcomed Tsitsipas – number 7 player in the world ranking of ATP – in Tatoi and explained to him the interactive educational programme that the IOA has created for the Olympic Games.

The booth that is currently welcoming the fans arriving at Tatoi Club for the Davis Cup was also visited by the Japanese ambassador in Greece, Mr Yasuhiro Shimizu.

The specific IOA programme was fully upgraded and translated into the Japanese language under the sponsorship of M/MARITIME, in view of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The programme is now available in 4 languages (English, French, Spanish, Japanese) and those interested have the opportunity to explore the world of the Olympic Movement through innovative games, quizzes and interesting videos related to the Olympic Games and their roots in Ancient Greece.

The completely upgraded version of the programme will be soon uploaded on the IOA webpage (www.ioa.org.gr).
