Zsuzsanna Bukta PhD. is a senior lecturer at ELTE-Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. She has been teaching sport management, sport history, event management and Olympism since 2005. Her research topics are sport policies on governmental and local governmental level; NGOs in sports, sport financing, sports and gender and the history of the Hungarian Olympic Movement. She was the president of the Hungarian Curling Federation between 2015-2020, member of the Hungarian Olympic Committee, board member and president of the Hungarian Olympic Academy between 2016-2023. She attended the Olympic Masters' Programme in Olympia in 2022-23, and was a participant at several IOA events, as well as Olympic events.
