On the occasion of the restructuring of the IOA’s educational programme within the new framework that is being set in cooperation with the International Olympic Committee, planned to be launched in 2021, the IOA has decided to establish a Development Working Group, comprised of distinguished academics and experts specialized in the field of Olympic Education, who are familiar with the physiognomy of the IOA, in order to establish a scientifically based educational pattern. Their main task will be to study and develop new educational activities, with joint forces, which will mark the new era of the IOA.
The constitution of the Development Working Group is considered the first step in the pursuit of the IOA’s broadened role in the modern Olympic time.
