Programme Description
- Each NOC together with its NOA may register a maximum of two (2) educators.
- Educators from Higher Institutes of Physical Education may register independently as well.
Please, note that in case applications exceed the number of fifty (50), priority will be given to early applications.
Applications' Deadline
The platform will be open from Monday, 20 March 2023 and the final date for enrollment will be Wednesday, 31 May 2023, after which the registration platform will be closed.
Language
The working languages of the Session are English and French and participants must speak fluently at least one of these languages.
Documents Required to Submit
A Word document of the paper of maximum 2 pages, written in English or French must be sent to ioa@ioa.org.gr until Wednesday, 31 May 2023.
Short Papers/Presentations
The IOA strongly encourages the participants to make presentations strictly on topics related to the special topic of the Session.
Expenses
A) Registration fees
All participants are required to pay registration fees amounting to 150 euros per person. The payment of the registration fees must be effected upon your online registration.
B) Participation fees
Participation fees are set at 730 euros per person. The payment of the participation fees for must be effected at least ten (10) days prior to the opening of the Session via the link that you will be sent.
C) Transport
Air-tickets
All charges concerning the air-tickets of your delegates should be borne by the NOC/NOA or the university.
Local transports
The IOA will take care of the participants’ local transport strictly from July 7th (date set for the arrival of the participants in Athens) and July 13th (date set for departure).
D) Accommodation/Boarding
Accommodation and boarding both in Athens (only for the nights of 7 July and 12 July 2023), and in Olympia will be arranged by the International Olympic Academy. Any additional overnight stay in Athens must be arranged by the participant.
Also, please bear in mind that all participants will be allocated in twin rooms, both in Athens and in Olympia.
E) Visa
Participants who need a VISA to enter Greece should address themselves to the Greek Embassy of their country, where they will submit their application along with an invitation letter from the IOA. Should there be no Greek Embassy in some countries a VISA from an Embassy of any country member of the European Union could be accepted. May we remind you once again that any cost concerning the issuing of such a VISA should be borne by the participants themselves.

- 1. Review which documents you must upload for your application to be considered.
- 2. Make sure you have collected all documents. Please remember about the Declaration of consent to the Processing of Personal Data.
- 3. Create a folder to upload your documents at Dropbox or a Google Drive
- 4. Make sure all documents are uploaded
- 5. After you have uploaded your documents, ensure we can access the link by pressing the option "anyone with the link can view".
- 6. Ensure the previous step is done so we can see and review your documents.
- 7. Copy the shareable link.
- 8. On the bottom right, press "Upload Documents" button. A pop-up window of your profile will appear.
- 9. At the bottom section "Upload Documents of the pop-up, please paste the link there and choose which session you are applying to. Your application is then successfully submitted.
- 10. The IOA support team receives a notice to review your documents.
- 11. You will receive a status update email with further guidance on how to proceed with your application.
