The National Olympic Committee has launched the Olympic Training Programme, to develop and disseminate the Olympic values to high school students in remote areas or islands that have limited access to the Olympic world.

In 2019, a total of 29 Olympians and champions were invited to share their sports experiences with 6,500 children and encourage them to follow the Olympic values. After taking part in the programme in 2018, Meng-Jhe Yeh, who is a javelin thrower, tried a new challenge in the winter sport of luge and participated in the Youth Olympic Games "Lausanne 2020", which proves that sport can have a positive impact on everyone’s life.
