Tunisia

During 2019, the National Olympic Academy of Tunisia organized three courses in Sports Administration and two Advanced Courses in Sports Management.In addition, three sessions in the context of the decentralization of the activities of the Academy and in cooperation with the Regional Youth and Sports Committees, were held in different regions of the country:

- The 21st session was held from 21 to 29 September 2019 in Kef.

- The 22nd session was held from 9 to 17 November 2019 in Bizerte.

- The 23rd session was held from 7 to 15 December 2019 in Kairouan.

As part of the Advanced Course in Sports Management, 21 executives of sports organization and management were trained with the help of the International Olympic Committee.

According to the strategy supported by Olympic Solidarity, advanced sports administration courses provide in-depth training in the following specialties: organisation of Olympic sports events, strategic behavior, human resources management, financial management, marketing management, organization of important sporting events.

Kamel Deguiche, member of the Board of Directors of the National Olympic Committee of Tunisia and President of the National Olympic Academy of Tunisia, participated in the 15th International IOA Session for Presidents or Directors of National Olympic Academies, held in May 2019 at Ancient Olympia, and presented the activities and the prospects of the Academy and highlighted the efforts to promote the Olympic Games in Tunisia.
