The program "Olympic Fellowships" of the Olympic Academy of Colombia, gives the opportunity for dialogue on issues related to Olympism. Pupils, teachers, sports administrators, coaches, athletes and journalists gather to express their point of view on items of common interest.This event has been organized by the Academy for more than 20 years and 81 events have taken place so far, while the six events took place in 2019 with the following topics: Women and Sport, Olympism, Governance, New Sports Olympic Games, Olympism for Kids, National Games.This program will continue in 2020 with the aim of organizing seven "Olympic Fellowship Gatherings". The Olympic Academic Courses, is a program conducted since various years by the Academy, in coordination with different Universities, having educational programs, mainly related to Sport and Physical Education.College students take the program during one academic semester, based on a curriculum designed by the Colombian Olympic Academy.The Olympic Academic Courses, allowed to send the Olympic Movement concepts, its values and goals to a number of about 1,200 college students, during the two semesters of 2019. More than 20 universities, colleges and schools are now offering these courses.In 2019, the Academy issued six booklets series on the subject: "Olympism for Kids".These booklets would be colored by children and deal with the following topics: History of the Olympic Games, Education on Olympic values, Olympic Heroes, Colombian Olympic Heroes, History of the Olympic Movement in Colombia, Olympic Memorabilia.The Project foresees to distribute in 2020 a number of 2,000 booklets among educational centers in various cities, together with the relevant paints. The Academy also has a new board for the period 2019–2021 with Guillermo González as President, Clemencia Anaya as Vice-President and Alberto Galvis as Secretary-General.
